I heard about Wakodahatchee Wetlands from Jose Groene at Everglades. He mentioned that it has the density I was imagining Everglades would have. My first day was so amazing that I decided to spend an extra day there. From the white ibis taking off at sunrise, to seeing the great egrets in their breeding plumage, to the wood storks and the anhingas, it is an amazing place.
